Each of the four session times at the Learning on the Lakeshore 2017 conference, attendees can choose from 19 different sessions or visit a hands-on help room - for over 70 choices! Attend a breakout session for just what you want to learn - whether you're an elementary teacher, secondary teacher, or administrator. Conference presenters include local teachers and administrators sharing their experiences, as well as tech experts coming in to present from across the the state and region. Due to low enrollment, the Learning on the Lakeshore Preconference Workshops scheduled for Tuesday, August 15, 2017 are cancelled. We apologize if the cancellation has caused you any inconvenience. The 1/2 day workshops were offered to meet requests for longer, hands-on sessions which go deeper into a topic. Note: presenters at the LOTL Conference have been encouraged to include hands-on practice in their 60 minute breakout sessions as appropriate. The Learning on the Lakeshore Conference offers more than 70 different sixty minute breakout sessions with something for every learner. There are breakout sessions for elementary teachers, science teachers, administrators, Google Classroom and Schoology users, and more. Whether you are a newbie or a tech using veteran, a Chromebook or iPad users, you'll find breakout sessions to meet your needs. Many of the breakout sessions include time to practice what you learn - so be sure to bring a device if possible. Note: some loaner Chromebooks will be available at registration.
